Colour trends are moving towards rich, glossy tones, including espresso brunettes, warm coppers, creamy blondes, and multidimensional shades that enhance natural depth.
“High-shine finishes are key, with healthy-looking hair taking priority over dramatic transformations. On the catwalk, sleek low ponytails, sculptural buns, soft waves, and glass-like shine continue to dominate, reflecting a modern, understated approach to luxury. Whether worn smooth and sophisticated or embracing natural texture, this season’s hair is all about confidence, simplicity, and beautiful condition.”
Chelsey Stone –
“For Autumn 2026, I think we’ll continue to see the rise of dimensional luxury brunettes alongside personalised grey blending services. Clients are moving away from high maintenance colour appointments and towards softer, more bespoke colour that grows out beautifully while still feeling expensive and intentional. Alongside this, scalp health and wellness focused services will become less of a luxury add on and more of an expectation within the salon experience.”
Olivia-Rose Brady –
“For me, one of the most resurfacing trends of 2026 has been a reinvention of bobs. This autumn, I think we’ll see more romantic style bobs – striking a balance between polished and relaxed, ditching the ever popular blunt 0 line bob for something more wearable with natural movement and invisible layers. Accented with enduringly popular face framing, this vision is 90s romcom heroine meets the elegance of renaissance beauty.”
Troy Boyd –
“What I’m predicting for autumn/winter, it’s a move towards hair that feels effortlessly luxurious. We’re stepping away from overly styled looks and embracing glossy, healthy hair with rich, wearable colour and beautiful soft shapes. Brunettes think espresso, mocha, and truffle shades with delicate dimension the reflect in the light.
“The new take on copper hair will see, cinnamon and burnished coppers with amber brunettes, less orange more delicate opulence. Blondes will see pearly hues over platinum, its softer sophisticated and more luminous over too cool and too flat. Honey and biscuit tones will feel glossier, cosy, and work great with a winter wardrobe. Mushroom blonde is a great way to add dimension and create soft grow outs for your grey blending clients.
“Cuts will have Airy layers, 90s blowouts and could it be the return of the soft side fringe. Bobs will be refined, moving away from textured and undone, too soft jaw hugging length with moveable layers that look shiny and intentional. It’s all about hair that catches the light, grows out beautifully and feels authentic to the person wearing it. It’s about elevating what you already have and letting healthy, beautifully bespoke hair do the talking.”
